An accessory detailing set, not a kit of an aircraft. It holds a pair of resin 3D-printed drop fuel tanks of 165 gallons, which were hung under the wings of long-range P-51D Mustang escorts. The set is intended for models in 1:72 scale.
External tanks fundamentally extended the range of the Mustangs while escorting bomber formations. The 165gal type was among those commonly used; their attachment under the wings is a rewarding and prominent detail of a finished model.
Separate the parts from the print supports, clean them up and degrease them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The tanks are usually finished in a shade to match the chosen machine and they can easily be blended in with an airbrush before the final fitting onto the model.
A detail set. It does not contain the aircraft model itself. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
