A masking set for a model of the French twin-engined aircraft Potez 540 in the transport rendering, scale 1:72, cut for the AZ-model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Potez 540 was a French twin-engined high-wing monoplane from the middle of the 1930s. You will recognize it by its angular fuselage with flat sides, its high-set wing and the engine nacelles carried above it. The addition of TRANSPORT in the name defines the rendering the set is cut for; the details of it are given in the instructions of the kit.
Painting masks define the areas on the model that you want to spray separately from their surroundings, so that the boundary arises directly in the paint. On an angular fuselage with large flat surfaces that pays off doubly, because every unevenness of the edge shows on them immediately. The set is cut for the kit of the AZ-model brand in 1:72 scale. Which particular areas the sheet covers and in what order they are applied to the model are stated in the manufacturer's instructions; read them before the first spray pass.
The surface underneath must be dry, clean and degreased, otherwise the mask will not adhere and the paint will run beneath it. Press the edges down all the way around with a blunt stick and spray thinly in several passes. On large flat surfaces run the gun parallel to the edge of the mask, not against it. Take the template off while the finish is freshly dried and draw it at an angle across the edge.
The kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
