Model Scene 1:72 Board fence, narrower boards, angled cut is a laser-cut wooden part for building a fence of narrow boards with ends cut at an angle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A scenery accessory from the Czech manufacturer Model Scene for dioramas in 1:72 scale. The laser-cut wooden part is taken out of its frame, assembled and set into a scene as a self-contained element. Narrower boards give the fence a finer and denser rhythm, closer to a rural picket fence around a cottage and a garden than to a coarse farm enclosure.
The top ends of the boards are cut at an angle so that water runs off them and the wood rots less. This creates a regular sawtooth top line that sets the fence apart from the versions with a straight or an irregular finish. Narrower boards mean more vertical joints over the same length: the fence is airier, screens less and in the small 1:72 scale reads as finely drawn. The same range also includes a version with wider boards, and the two can be alternated along a longer run.
Narrow elements are more fragile, so release them only with a sharp scalpel and never break them out by twisting. Paint them while still in the frame, as long as they hold together: thinned acrylic or a wood stain brings out the texture without flooding the fine joints. Once assembled, run a dry brush in light gray over the edges and apply a dark wash at the foot. A few boards can be set slightly out of true or left out altogether, so that the fence looks repaired and used.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and the other scenery materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
