1:72 PZL P.11/P.24 Wheels is a resin set of wheels for models of the Polish PZL P.11 and PZL P.24 fighters in 1:72 scale from IBG models.

This item is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the build. It replaces the main landing gear wheels of models of the Polish PZL P.11 and PZL P.24 fighters with resin parts. On aircraft models the wheels are among the most rewarding small improvements: a casting manages finer relief on the hub and the tread pattern on the tire, and above all it can capture a flattened contact patch, which a plastic part from a mold usually cannot. The set is in 1:72 scale and behind it stands the Polish brand IBG models.
The PZL P.11 was a Polish all-metal high-wing fighter with its characteristic cranked wing, nicknamed the gull wing. At the time it appeared, in the early 1930s, it was among the best, but the rapid rise of cantilever low-wing monoplanes overtook it within a few years. It nevertheless made up the backbone of the Polish fighter defense in September 1939, and its pilots achieved a number of victories despite the dated design. The P.24 branch of development was created for export: it received a more powerful radial engine of French origin and heavier armament, and it found buyers in Turkey, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no mold release agent is left on them. On wheels the casting block tends to run along the contact surface of the tire: cut it off with a saw and level the surface by wet sanding, so that the model stands straight on its base. They are bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. When painting, set the hub apart from the tire: a tire is not black but rather dark gray, and once dusted with pigment it blends into the whole far more naturally. Let the flattened part of the tire point downward when gluing.
