The most complete set of accurate self-adhesive masks of thin washi (kabuki) tape from New Ware. Besides masking the cabin on the outside, the EXPERT level takes in the inner faces of the glazing, the wheels and the small features. The tape follows the shape of the parts exactly, holds on the edges and leaves no adhesive residue once lifted.

The real subject

The Ryan L-17 Navion was a light single-engine all-metal aircraft with a four-seat cabin, derived from a civil type originally designed by North American and later built by Ryan. The L-17A version and the improved L-17B served with the US Army from the late 1940s to the early 1960s for liaison and observation duties.

Use

• The inner and outer cabin masks let you spray the glazing frames from both sides.
• Mask the extensive glazing of the Navion in sections so that the tape seats properly.
• Spray in thin coats and lift the masks off shortly after the paint has dried.
• The circular wheel masks make a clean separation of tire from rim easier.
