Responsibility details are not available.
The item 1:72 Skulls falls into the diorama program of the Black Dog brand. These are separate small pieces with which modelers settle the free places on a baseplate: they will fit in among debris of masonry, into taller grass or at the foot of a collapsed stairway. No machine or figure can be built from them; their task is to give a display a story.
The 1:72 scale forgives little: as soon as an empty area is left on a baseplate, the viewer's eye has nowhere to rest. That is exactly why small props are arranged irregularly and preferably one piece at a time. One item half sunk in the soil at the edge of a display is more effective than a little heap in the middle of an empty place.
Prepare sharp tweezers and glue spot by spot with a thicker super glue that does not flow into the surroundings. The base is a light bone tone with a cast of gray; once it has dried, a thin dark coat follows, which draws itself into the hollows. A final dry brushing in the lightest shade will draw the edges out and the whole shape will separate readably from the ground.
The set is supplied unpainted; prepare the shades, the putty and the glue according to the habits of your own workshop.
