A Hataka modeling paint of the Orange Line range, the Deep Buff shade to the British BS 381C standard under number 360.
Responsibility details are not available.
Deep Buff is a light sandy beige shade listed in the British BS 381C standard under number 360. That standard brings together the shades used on British vehicles and equipment, so it suits builds of British subjects above all, where the builder wants to keep to a documented real subject rather than mixing the tone themselves. The shades in the standard are listed by number independently of the manufacturer, so they can be compared across modeling ranges.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, so that the pigment settled at the bottom is mixed in evenly; with light opaque shades it settles markedly. Thin the paint with the thinner made for this range and in the ratio given by the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Do not use thinners from other ranges or water until you have checked in the instructions that they are suitable for this paint.
Apply in several thin coats and let the paint set between them. Light beige tones have less covering power, so it pays to spray a light base beforehand; over a dark base the shade would go dark and would have to be sprayed over. Coat the area with gloss varnish before the decals go on and even the sheen out as needed once finished.
The paint is intended for modelers who build to standardized shades and want a tone that can be traced by number. Close the bottle carefully after work and store it cool and out of the reach of children. Thinner, brushes and other accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
