This is NOT a kit but a finished collector model in 1:72 scale. It is supplied fully assembled, painted and marked, so it is ready to go straight onto a shelf or into a display case. The model captures the tracked Komintern artillery tractor faithfully, with all the characteristic features of the real vehicle.
The Komintern was a Soviet heavy tracked artillery tractor derived from the chassis of the T-12 and T-24 tanks. A diesel engine of about 130 horsepower drove it, and it was used to tow medium artillery systems, for example a 152 mm howitzer. The vehicle was in service from the second half of the 1930s and played an important part in the opening phase of the fighting on the Eastern Front.
The model is painted and assembled at the factory. We would suggest protecting it from dust and direct sunlight; wipe any fingerprints off with a soft dry cloth. Collectors can go on to pick the model out individually with light weathering and pigments, though that is not necessary.
