A resin detail set from Quickboost with a corrected nose for a model of the Sukhoi Su-33 carrier fighter in 1:72 scale. The casting has a more accurate shape for the forward fuselage and the radome than the plastic parts of the kit offer. It is an accessory for a kit, not the airplane model itself.
The Sukhoi Su-33 (NATO reporting name Flanker D) is a carrier fighter derived from the Su-27 type and adapted for operation from an aircraft carrier. It has folding wings and canard foreplanes. The shape of the nose with the radome is an important element for an accurate look for the aircraft.
Wash the part to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting block and seat it in place of the original plastic nose. Bond it with super glue, fill the transitions and sand them with respiratory protection.
The kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
