A figure set in 1:72 scale offered under the name Time to feed. A figure in this scale measures around 24 millimeters, so it suits models of aircraft, hardware and buildings in the usual 1:72 scale and it bears comparison beside buildings in the close 1:76 scale as well.
Figures give a diorama scale and a story. A single figure beside a machine reveals at once how big the subject is, and a scene stops coming across as a display case with the model alone. Lay the arrangement of the figures out on the base dry while they can still be moved freely, and only then glue them on. Figures come across better set out irregularly than in a row.
First rid the small parts of surplus material with a sharp blade and sand the place with fine sandpaper. Before painting, wash them in lukewarm water with detergent and degrease them, otherwise the paint holds badly on the smooth surface. Paint onto a primer and in layers: a darker basic shade, brightening of the raised places and a dark wash into the folds of the clothing, which deepens the figure optically. Faces in this scale do not take detail, as it is enough to suggest the shade of the skin and a darker line under the edge of the headgear.
The set is suitable for modelers who are building scenes in 1:72 scale and looking for figures to liven them up. Work with such small figures calls for a thin brush, good light and a steady hand. The paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
