Panigale Red (17ml)

Real Colors RC836 Panigale Red, 17 ml

A modeling acrylic paint from the Real Colors range by AK Interactive, the manufacturer's part number RC836, in a 17 ml container. The shade is listed under the name Panigale Red, that is after the designation of a sports motorcycle. It is a brilliant red with a tendency toward a warm tone.

Where you will use the shade

It suggests itself above all for models of sports motorcycles, where it forms the main area of the fairing and the tank. It will serve just as well on the bodies of racing cars or on prominent accessories where you want the red to look fresh rather than dark.

How to work with the paint

• Stir the contents of the bottle properly every time you take paint out, or you will apply a shade short of pigment.
• Lay the paint in thin coats; on the finish of a fairing it is better to add a fourth coat than one heavy one.
• For a clean tone apply it over a light base, as a white primer keeps red at its most brilliant.
• For thinning and for cleaning your tools use the thinner intended for the Real Colors range; the ratio is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
• Do a test spray on waste plastic, not on a finished part.

Storage and packaging

Always close the bottle carefully and keep it away from heat and frost. Paint that has thickened can be thinned down, but check the resulting shade on a sample first.

The package holds one bottle of paint of 17 ml. A thinner, brushes, an airbrush and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
