This detail weapons set brings four blocks of the Soviet UB-32A-24 carried rocket pod in 1:72 scale. It is a resin, 3D printed aftermarket set from the maker Reskit, intended for more experienced modelers. It does not replace a kit: it adds faithful external pods with crisply rendered tube mouths and a surface that injection-molded parts from the box usually cannot offer.
The UB-32 is a widespread Soviet block pod for thirty-two unguided 57 mm rockets of the S-5 series. Attack helicopters as well as tactical aircraft of the Eastern Bloc carried it under their wings and on pylons. The individual subversions differed in details of the layout and the attachments; the real subject served for decades with a number of armed forces.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut off the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; do the sanding of resin with respiratory protection. Apply a primer, bring the tube mouths out with a dark shadow and a fine dry brush; traces of firing are finished off with pigments and soot around the mouths.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
