1:72 Vampire T.11 air intakes is a resin detail set from Quickboost that replaces the air intakes on the trainer version of the Vampire with accurate resin castings.

This aftermarket accessory is not a model in its own right but a set for refining the air intakes to the engine. It replaces the parts from the box with resin castings of a more faithful shape and is intended for models of the two-seat de Havilland Vampire T.11 trainer in 1:72 scale.
The de Havilland Vampire belonged to the first generation of British jet fighters. The T.11 version was a two-seat trainer with characteristic side air intakes at the wing roots. A faithful shape for the intakes affects the whole look of the fuselage and of the transition into the nacelle.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and fit them well to the shape of the fuselage. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the inside of the intakes in the matching shade before final assembly. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
