This is a printed paper sheet, not a resin casting. According to the name it holds 69 scaled-down posters whose motifs are based on American period propaganda posters of the Second World War. The sheet is prepared for dioramas in 1:72 scale, that is for a size at which small background details are otherwise hard to do.
A small scale makes different demands on the background from 1:35. The area of a wall is smaller, but for that very reason every detail on it stands out more. A poster stuck on an airfield building, on a hangar or on a fence gives a scene both scale and period setting and adds context to a model aircraft or vehicle. Sixty-nine pieces mean that you can pick and choose and keep a supply for further scenes.
Cut with a scalpel with a new blade against a metal ruler, ideally under a magnifier. Use fine tweezers to move them. Apply the glue, best thinned PVA, on the tip of a toothpick onto the ground and not onto the paper, otherwise the poster will wave. Once laid on, press it gently and let it dry. Heavy weathering is lost at this scale, so a matte coat that evens the sheen of the print out with the surrounding area is all you need. Allow for a few spoiled pieces before the cut settles down; fortunately the sheet offers plenty of them.
