6x Resin Dragon Teeth Traps for Tanks

Six resin anti-tank pyramids

A decorative accessory of the brand Green Stuff World. What are called dragon teeth are low concrete pyramids placed in continuous rows across terrain. Their task is to make the passage of a tracked vehicle technically impossible, as it gets stuck on them or is forced to look for a detour. According to the name there are six pieces in the package and the material is resin. This is not a kit of a vehicle but a feature of terrain added to a finished scene.

Working with resin and painting

First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no residue of mold release agent is left on the surface, otherwise the paint will come off. Cut off any remains of casting blocks and sand the surfaces over. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, as ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. The painting follows the same path as with concrete: a non-uniform base, a dark shade into the joints, dust and a deposit of earth at the foot of the pyramids.
