A turned metal gun barrel from RB model as a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a detail accessory reproducing the Soviet 85 mm tank guns of the ZiS-S-53 and D-5 types. The metal version ensures a perfectly circular cross section and a sharp muzzle.
The Soviet 85 mm tank guns, among them the D-5 and the ZiS-S-53, armed the heavy tanks of the KV and IS series as well as the later versions of the T-34/85. The move to the 85 mm caliber fundamentally raised the anti-armor power of Soviet tanks in the second half of the war.
Check which variant of the gun your model needs. Degrease the metal part, remove the burrs and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a metal primer before painting.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
