ICM 1:32 Luftwaffe Cadets (1939-1945) is a set of unassembled plastic figures of Luftwaffe cadets of the Second World War. Suited to aircraft models and to dioramas alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds injection-molded plastic figures of Luftwaffe cadets of the Second World War period in 1:32 scale. The figures are conceived as a scene in which the airmen help each other with dressing and with the straps of their equipment, and they bring the setting of an airfield or a training base to life. The maker is ICM. The set is a rewarding addition to aircraft models of the same scale and a subject for a diorama in its own right.
The Luftwaffe ran an extensive training system during the war, through which thousands of young pilots and crew members passed. Scenes from training, dressing and preparation for flight are among the less usual, and all the more interesting, subjects.
Part the pieces carefully from the sprues and cement them with glue for plastic. The uniforms benefit from smooth shading and a light emphasis of the folds; the skin of the faces and hands comes out with careful shading. An airbrush works well for the base shades and a brush for the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
