It is a new tooling; the package includes rubber tires and a decal sheet for several color schemes. The exact number of parts and marking schemes is given in the included instructions.
The Opel Blitz was one of the most widely used German trucks of the Second World War. The Typ A 4x4 version, with drive to all wheels, was meant to improve mobility over rough terrain and in bad weather. The vehicle was powered by an inline six-cylinder gasoline engine and was used to transport troops, materiel, and ammunition, as well as to tow lighter guns. Thanks to its versatility, it became one of the key transport vehicles of the Wehrmacht on many fronts.
With trucks, it pays to assemble and paint the chassis, engine, drivetrain, and cab and bed interior before closing up the body. Glue the plastic parts with thin liquid cement for plastic; fit the rubber tires only after painting. Prime the surface before painting, and spray the color with an airbrush in thin coats. Create weathering with dark washes in the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects on the chassis, fenders, and tires.
