An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet military truck ZIL-131 in 1:35 scale from ICM. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model carries over the characteristic cab, the cargo bed and the chassis with its three axles; for the exact contents of the box and the number of parts go by the instructions enclosed.
The ZIL-131 is a Soviet truck with all-wheel drive (6x6) introduced in the 1960s. It served as a universal military and civilian carrier for moving people and materiel and as a chassis for a range of bodies. It was marked by good cross-country performance, by reliability and by very wide use in the armies and the economies of countries that used Soviet equipment.
First assemble the chassis and the axles, and only then fit the cab and the cargo bed. Use a liquid modeling cement on the plastic, sand the joints and treat the surface with a primer. Apply the single-color army finish with an airbrush and put dust and mud pigments on the wheel arches and the frame for convincing weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
