About product

AK Interactive Blue RAL 5001 (17 ml)

A dark greenish blue from the Real Colors line by AK Interactive. It is a lacquer-based paint, not a water-thinnable acrylic. It reproduces the RAL 5001 shade and is supplied in a 17 ml dropper bottle.

Use

  • Optimized for an airbrush, where it forms fine smooth coats; it can also be applied with a brush.
  • It is thinned with lacquer thinner (for example AK High Compatibility Thinner), not with water.
  • It dries quickly to a firm surface suitable under decals and weathering.
  • The deep blue shade comes out well on a neutral to light base.

Who it is for

For modelers of machinery, vehicles and industrial equipment who need the exact greenish blue RAL 5001.

The paint is flammable and contains solvents. Work in a well-ventilated space and use respiratory protection when airbrushing.
