A modeling paint from the Real Colors range by AK with the manufacturer's part number RC042. It is listed as a British dark olive green, that is a deeper green tone broken toward brown. Green shades of this kind are overall colors on military vehicles: they cover large unbroken areas, and their look on the model is then tuned with shading and dirtying.
It suggests itself wherever you build British vehicles in a green finish, but it also serves as the dark green in the camouflage of other machines, as a base under dust and mud or as a tone for shading deeper places. A dark green is also welcome on the canvas parts of equipment, on crates and on the small fittings that would look out of place in a fresh, stronger color.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. The paint is made above all for an airbrush; with a brush, lay it on in thin strokes and let them flow into each other. Thin it with the thinner meant for this range and spray in several light coats, letting the surface flash off between them. A strong green tends to show every unevenness of the surface underneath, so even that surface out first. Use a gloss clear coat under decals and a matte one on the finished model, so that the surface is pulled together.
