A bottled water-based acrylic paint from the aircraft range of AK interactive. The light gray-blue shade with the designation A-18f belongs to the Soviet aircraft palette; similar light gray-blue tones were used above all on the undersides of the airframe. It is neither a lacquer nor an enamel: the binder is acrylic and the paint is thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner of the same type.
Do not thin an acrylic paint with a lacquer or enamel thinner, because the two chemistries do not agree and the paint will curdle. Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use. Light gray-blue shades generally have a lower covering power than dark ones, so count on several thin coats and on a light surface underneath; one heavy coat only floods the engraved panel lines and still does not cover evenly.
For modelers of Soviet aircraft who need a ready light gray-blue tone and do not want to mix it from white and blue. Lay it onto a cured primer, because light shades let bare plastic show through and the result tends to be uneven. Once the work is done it is advisable to seal the model with a varnish compatible with acrylic.
The paint is intended for modeling use. Work in a ventilated room, protect your airways when spraying and keep out of the reach of children.
