About product

AK Interactive Concrete - concrete texture paste (100 ml)

A thick acrylic paste in the gray shade of concrete, intended for the quick creation of relief terrain. It imitates concrete and cement and suits the surfaces of buildings, runways and bunkers as well as figure bases. It is applied straight from the tub and once dry it holds a firm, slightly granular structure that can be painted and weathered further.

Use

  • Apply it with a brush, a spatula or a sponge, in a thin as well as a thick layer, according to the relief you want.
  • Thin it with water or with an acrylic thinner if needed.
  • The drying time is about 6 hours, depending on the thickness of the layer and the ambient temperature.
  • Once dry it is fully compatible with pigments, washes, inks and static grass for finishing the scene.

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas, wargaming bases and sceneries who want to create a realistic concrete surface quickly, without mixing plaster and putties.

A water-based product. Keep out of the reach of children and wash the tools with water after the work, before the paste dries.

FAQ

It is a thick texture paste on an acrylic base that creates a relief concrete surface, not an opaque paint for a flat coat.

It is thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner if needed; wet residue and the tools wash off with water.

Yes, once dry it can be painted with an airbrush, toned with pigments and washes and finished with static grass.

The structure can be used across the scales of dioramas and wargaming bases; you adjust the layer to the size of the scene.
