D2 Green Black – acrylic paint from AK Interactive (17 ml)

A water-thinnable third-generation acrylic paint in the very dark green-black shade Green Black designated D2. It is a period tone used on aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy, for example on the upper surfaces and the engine cowlings. The paint has high pigmentation, a scale-correct finish and good coverage.

Use

• The dark green-black of the upper surfaces and engine cowlings of Japanese naval aircraft.
• It is applied with a brush and an airbrush alike; for the airbrush thin it with third-generation acrylic thinner or with water.
• Once dry it resists oils, enamels and washes, so it will take further weathering.
• Suitable for dark camouflage and for contrasting engine cowlings.
