Damaged is a modeling magazine devoted to the finishing of models: aging, dirtying, chipping and damage. This is issue 06. The series keeps to the theme that turns a cleanly built model into a convincing piece: layers of dust, traces of rust, chipped paint on the edges, leaking oils and the other marks that service and weather leave on real vehicles.
Finishing is a discipline where the order of the steps and the right measure count for more than theory. The magazine is therefore built on pictures: at each stage of the build you can see how the model looked before and after, so you can measure your own procedure against it. The make-up of the articles in a particular issue is given in its contents.
Finishing is understood to mean several separate crafts that are layered one on another on a model:
For the modeler who has the building side in hand and wants to move on to the final look of the model. It is useful for a beginner too, because the illustrated procedure can be followed without much practice, and equally for diorama builders who need to match the state of a vehicle to the setting of the scene.
One copy of the magazine is supplied. The models, the paints, the pigments and the tools mentioned in the articles are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
