Dark Green Hungarian AF

Mr.Paint Dark Green (Hungarian AF)

A lacquer-based modeling paint from the Mr.Paint (MRP) brand in a 30 ml dropper bottle. It is a dark green camouflage shade used on the aircraft and helicopters of the Hungarian Air Force, typically on MiG-21 and L-39 machines and on helicopters of the Mi series. The paint is intended exclusively for spraying with an airbrush and has a matte character.

Use

• it is applied with an airbrush in thin coats, pre-thinned for nozzles of roughly 0.3 mm and needing no thinning as a rule
• for finer transitions or a larger nozzle it is thinned with MRP lacquer thinner, never with water
• it dries quickly into a thin, matte and firm film
• it combines with the other shades of Hungarian camouflage (brown, light blue)

Who the paint is for

For modelers building Hungarian Air Force subjects who work with an airbrush and want accurate factory shades with a thin film. The matte surface takes subsequent washes and pigments well.

The lacquer is flammable and its fumes are harmful to health. Work in a well-ventilated area, use a respirator and protect your skin and eyes. Do not thin with water.
