HEKI coarse flock is a material for crowns and bushes where the texture is to be pronounced.
Responsibility details are not available.
A loose flock material from the German maker HEKI in a coarse form. Compared with the fine variant of the same range it has larger particles, so a pronounced, broken-up texture arises on a crown instead of a smooth surface. That is exactly what you need in large scales and on trees in the foreground, where a fine material would look like a sprayed area with no detail.
Coat the framework of the tree with flock adhesive or diluted white glue and sprinkle the material from above over a dish placed underneath. Coarser particles need more glue than fine ones, because they touch the surface over a smaller area. It therefore proves itself to apply a layer of glue a second time onto the already flocked surface and to sprinkle once more. A combination of coarse and fine material on one tree gives a crown depth: coarse inside and fine on top.
For modelers working in larger scales, for builders of dioramas with growth in the foreground and for anyone who wants a more pronounced texture to a crown. Coarse flock also suits growth in the foreground of a macro photograph, where the texture is to be visible on a crown rather than a smooth area. It is a loose material; do not inhale it and keep it out of the reach of children. The manufacturer marks its landscaping goods as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
