HEKI Linden 18 cm is a mature model tree with a dense vaulted crown.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished model tree from the German maker HEKI, eighteen centimeters tall. The linden has a dense, evenly vaulted crown on a straight trunk, so on a model it reads as a deliberately planted tree rather than part of a forest. In Central Europe it is the species of village greens, avenues and spots by churches and chapels, where lindens were planted and often became the oldest trees in the village.
The tree is pushed into a pre-drilled hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. With an eighteen-centimeter piece carrying a dense crown, make the hole deeper and fix the trunk with a drop of glue, as the heavy crown would otherwise make the tree lean. Spread the flattened branches carefully with your fingers after unpacking and leave the outline of the crown slightly irregular, as a perfectly round shape gives the model away. Add grass or a gravel surface under the tree.
For layout and diorama builders fine-tuning the surroundings of buildings and village greens, and for modelers looking for a cultivated tree rather than a forest species. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
