A model of a small arm with the designation M4A1 in 1:35 scale. An accessory for figures and scenes from present-day conflicts, where a weapon in a soldier's hands is visible at first glance.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation M4A1 belongs to an American carbine which, from the 1990s, has been the basic small arm of the infantry of the United States and appears in practically every scene from present-day conflicts. On a model it is a small thing, but one a viewer reads among the first: by the weapon they recognize the army and the period sooner than by the uniform.
Weapons tend to be the weakest point in a box with a kit or with figures. They are thin, split into two halves and their shape is simplified, so a barrel tends to be too thick and the sights merge. A separate part solves this problem and pays off on a figure even when the model is otherwise finished.
Check the version and the number of pieces in the package against the manufacturer's illustration and instructions. If the parts are not polystyrene, ordinary cement for plastic will not join them; use super glue. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully, working slowly at the thin barrel and the stock. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts. Try the grip of the weapon in a figure's hand dry before the glue sets.
Figures, a kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
