An injection-molded plastic kit of the Austin Mini Cooper 1275S Mk.1 in 1:24 scale from the Tamiya car range. The model captures the classic Mini in its Austin badged form and offers a detailed engine and a faithful interior. The car is practically identical to its Morris sister version, differing above all in the badges and in details.
The Mini was sold in parallel under both the Austin and the Morris badge within the BMC group. The Cooper 1275S version with a displacement of 1275 cc was among the most powerful and most sought-after forms of the car, and in the Mk.1 form it became a classic of the 1960s.
Spray the body with a gloss paint over a filler primer and let it harden before the decals go on. Bring out the chrome and metal features with metallic shades, and glue the clear parts with a cement that does not fog. Masking items that make painting easier are usually included as well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
