A decal sheet for a model of the Fiat 131 in the factory color scheme of the 1977 season, 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Fiat 131 was an Italian sedan of the second half of the 1970s, and in rally form it was among the most successful cars of its kind in its day. The factory color scheme was bold and clear, so it holds together on a model even without further work. The decal set is aimed precisely at that factory combination for the 1977 season.
This is a separate decal sheet for 1:24 scale, that is an accessory for a kit, not a finished model. The extent of the sheet, how it is laid out and which kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Decals hold best on smooth gloss varnish; a matte surface underneath creates silvered edges. Varnish the surface with gloss varnish before applying them, then, and let it dry properly. Before applying, check the instructions for how the elements are transferred, in particular whether the sheet is dipped in water. Once the decals have dried and any joins have been tidied up, varnish the whole car so that the edges disappear under the clear coat.
The set suits modelers who build rally cars in 1:24 scale and want an accurate color scheme without painting the lettering by hand. The kit, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
