Responsibility details are not available.
A kit in injection-molded polystyrene from the tooling Academy introduced in 2021. The subject is a three-wheeled light truck with a single wheel at the front, an enclosed cab and an open cargo bed. In the number of parts and in its breakdown it is a build suited to a beginner; the assembly is a matter of one longer evening, so it also serves well as a relaxing model between two more demanding projects.
Mazda's three-wheeled trucks came about as a cheap answer to the postwar need for transport where a full-size truck was too expensive and too big. The T600 type had a small gasoline engine, a payload in the hundreds of kilograms and its strength was agility in narrow streets and in markets. The same design was also assembled in Korea, where it became one of the icons of motorization there in the 1960s.
The body has large single-color areas, so it pays to spray the base with an airbrush and to polish the surface once dry. Keep the chrome strips and the lights separate and finish them at the end. A truck will take discreet weathering: light dust on the cargo bed and wear on the edges of the step will turn a toy-like shape into a believable working vehicle.
In the box you will find unglued and unpainted parts. Paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
