Tabu design 1:24 McLaren F1-GTR Parabolica

A set of waterslide (wet) decals from Tabu design for a model of the McLaren F1 GTR sports car in 1:24 scale. It reproduces the Parabolica racing livery from the 1997 FIA GT championship (the long-tail version of the car), including the sponsor and team markings and the race numbers.

Use

  • Cut the motif out and immerse it in lukewarm water for a few seconds.
  • Once the film releases, slide the decal onto smooth glossy paint and position it.
  • Squeeze the water out with a soft cloth and use a decal softener to make it settle.
  • Once dry, overcoat with clear varnish for protection and an even finish.

  • Builders of models of GT racing cars of the 1990s.
  • Modelers who want a faithful particular livery instead of the decals out of the box.

The decals are supplied on their own; the model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.

Gloss varnish as a ground and clear varnish over the decals are recommended; a decal softener comes in handy as well.
