Plastruct H-profile 9.5 x 9.5 mm (styrene)

A precisely extruded profile shaped like the letter H in white polystyrene. The height and the width of the section are both 9.5 mm, the web and the flanges are 1.4 mm thick and the bar is 375 mm long. The package holds one piece. An H-profile serves as both a vertical and a horizontal load-bearing member and imitates rolled steel columns.

Working the material

Polystyrene is easy to cut, file, sand and drill, is glued with liquid cement for plastic models and takes putty and paint. Joints with other materials hold with cyanoacrylate glue. The material is compatible with the plastic of ordinary kits.
