Masking templates for a model of the F-4G Phantom II in 1:32 scale, cut for the kit from the manufacturer Revell.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-4G Phantom II was a two-seat version of the Phantom converted for suppressing enemy air defenses. Its task was to find transmitting radars and silence them before they threatened the other machines, and the crew had to expose themselves to exactly the systems they were sent against. In the large 1:32 scale it is a massive model, on which every imprecisely bounded spray is recognized at first glance.
The set brings masking templates cut to the F-4G kit from the manufacturer Revell in 1:32 scale. The cut-out shapes save the work of preparing masks by hand and ensure that the boundary comes out the same on both sides of the model.
Fit the templates before spraying and press the edge down along its whole length, so that the paint does not get under it. Spray in thin coats and rather in two passes; a heavy coat creeps under the edge more easily than a thin one. Lift them with tweezers as soon as the paint is dry to the touch, because once it has cured completely the edge is hard and may tear away. Take the rest off by drawing it along the surface, not straight up.
The templates alone are supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
