This item is not a model of an aircraft but a standalone 3D-printed kit of the MHU-141M ground munitions trailer in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Reskit. The trailer serves at air bases to move and load munitions - bombs, rockets and other armament - for combat aircraft. The type 1 form carries a weapon platform; a type 2 variant with a flat cargo bed also exists. Thanks to 3D printing, the details of the platform, the chassis and the supporting structure are finely rendered, which injection-molded plastic in this scale does not capture.

What the trailer is for

The MHU-141M belongs among the ground support equipment of an air base. It is a typical accessory for a diorama or a display case with models of modern combat aircraft - both jets and helicopters. A built trailer brings a scene to life and gives an aircraft model both scale and the context of a base.

Building and painting tips

This is a resin 3D-printed kit for more experienced modelers. Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, wash them in warm water with detergent (which removes print resin residue) and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Apply a primer before painting; the surface then suits washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
