This is a metal detail accessory, not a ship model. The set from the Polish manufacturer Master contains precisely turned brass masts and other fine parts for models of the Olympic-class ocean liners, that is the Titanic, the Olympic and the Britannic. The metal masts replace the softer and less accurate plastic parts from the kit.
The accessory improves the realism and the strength of the ship rigging on a liner model in 1:400 scale. The turned masts are straight and thin and do not bend the way plastic parts do, which helps above all when the rigging is tensioned. It is intended for models of the Titanic and her sister ships.
Degrease the metal parts before gluing and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is advisable to prime them beforehand so that the top coat adheres better. The thin turned elements call for careful handling, and tweezers help.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
