About product

Firma49 1:35 US 75 mm ammunition crates (Sherman)

This is a resin set of diorama accessories, not a vehicle model. It contains castings of American transport crates for 75 mm artillery ammunition of the kind used with Sherman tanks. The accessories serve to bring dioramas to life, to fill the stowage of vehicles or as separate details in a scene.

Use

  • Separate the castings from the casting blocks and clean up the mating faces.
  • Wash the mold release residue off them in lukewarm soapy water.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • The crates come into their own after painting and after washes and pigments for a worn effect.

Who it is for

  • Builders of dioramas with American Second World War vehicles.
  • Modelers who want to complete a scene with faithful ammunition crates.

This is a diorama accessory. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
