A resin (3D printed) nose cone (radome) for the two-seat attack aircraft Mirage 2000D in 1:32 scale. An accessory for the Kitty Hawk / Zimimodel kit, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed nose cone (radome) made by direct 3D printing in resin from Reskit, intended for a model of the French attack aircraft Mirage 2000D in 1:32 scale. It is a resin replacement part for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model on its own. The set replaces the plastic nose from the box with a more faithfully shaped part with sharper transitions.
The set deals with the shape and the detail of the forward fuselage, that is, the radar antenna cover. The exact shape of the cone differs between the individual Mirage 2000 versions, which is why the part is tied to a particular subject. The accessory is designed for the Kitty Hawk / Zimimodel kit; judge the exact number of parts by the package itself.
First wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut off the printing blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; check the join to the fuselage dry and refine it with filler if needed.
This is a resin accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
