Eduard Mosquito FB Mk.VI masks 1:32 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the British Mosquito FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber. It gives sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is meant for a plastic model of the British de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The de Havilland Mosquito is a British twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War, famous for its largely wooden structure, which made it light and very fast. The FB Mk.VI version was a fighter-bomber carrying bombs, rockets and heavy gun armament in the nose. It was flown on attacks against ground targets and on intruder and night operations, and it was among the most widely built variants of this versatile machine.
Degrease the glazing of the cockpit and the nose and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the individual frames, press them into the edges and fill small cutouts with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
