An accessory set of parts for a model of the OV-10D light reconnaissance and attack aircraft in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The OV-10 Bronco is an American light reconnaissance and attack aircraft with a twin-boom layout and a long glazed cabin that gives the crew a view forward, to the sides and downwards. The machine was built for short runways and for work from rough strips, and it proved itself in forward air control and in close support of troops on the ground. The designation OV-10D belongs to a later, modified version.
Accessory parts for a model of the OV-10D in 1:32 scale. It is a set that replaces or supplements parts of a kit and lifts the level of detail where the production plastic part is simplified. The exact make-up of the set, the number of parts and the places on the model where they belong are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The material of the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions, and choose the glue accordingly: ordinary modeling cement has no effect on parts that are not polystyrene, and cyanoacrylate is used instead. Cut surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder off with a fine abrasive. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, degrease them and let them dry. Test the fit dry; the mating surfaces usually need slight adjustment so that the part sits without stress.
The set suits modelers who want to take the detail further in a large scale and are not content with the production rendering. In 1:32 scale every transition and edge is more visible than on smaller models. The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
