This is not an aircraft kit but a 3D-printed resin detail accessory. The set holds an accurately shaped nose cone (radome) of the Republic F-105 Thunderchief fighter-bomber, including a fine pitot tube, and serves as a replacement for the softly shaped nose of the plastic kit in 1:32 scale.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American supersonic fighter-bomber of the Cold War, a heavy strike machine famous for its service over Vietnam. Its characteristic elongated nose with the slender pitot tube is among its most striking features, which is why it pays to give it attention on the finished model.
First wash the print resin residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports carefully. They are glued with cyanoacrylate; sand with respiratory protection. Lay down a base coat (a primer) before painting, which evens out the surface and reveals any flaws. We recommend fitting the pitot tube right at the end of the build so that it does not snap off.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
