This set is NOT a model of the aircraft but a three-dimensional color interior in the form of a 3D decal on a decal backing, intended for the injection-molded Panavia Tornado GR.1 kit from Italeri. It contains photo-realistically pre-colored 3D-printed parts (the instrument panels of both cockpits, side panels, inserts) supplemented with resin parts. The base Italeri kit has to be owned separately.
The Panavia Tornado is a European combat aircraft with a variable-sweep wing, developed jointly by several countries. The GR.1 version is the two-seat strike modification of the Royal Air Force, intended for attacks on ground targets in all weather and from low altitude.
The 3D decals are soaked in water and applied directly to the part like conventional decals; they give both cockpits three-dimensional relief and a photo-realistic look WITHOUT painting. A decal softener, however, does not belong here, as it would attack the printed resin. Wash the resin parts free of uncured resin residue, cut off the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
