This is a set of four resin 3D-printed figures from Reskit in 1:32 scale. The figures represent modern aircraft carrier deck personnel in yellow jerseys - plane directors and the officers responsible for aircraft handling, the catapult and the arresting gear. They are captured in relaxed poses, as if waiting for work. The set brings a model of a carrier aircraft to life and creates a scene from the deck. It is not an aircraft model.
On a carrier deck the color of the jersey marks the role of a crew member; yellow belongs to those who direct the movement of aircraft and operate the catapults and arresting wires. These figures help set a modern carrier fighter in the context of its everyday operation.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the remains of the mold release agent. Cut the supports and casting blocks away with a sharp knife or a fine saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; lay the yellow jerseys over a light base and add the reflective stripes and name tags. Build the flesh tones of the faces up by layering.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
