This resin, 3D printed accessory set contains two Mk.84 aerial bombs with the BSU-36/B retarding tail. It is not an airplane model but accurate external stores for improving a model you have already built in 1:72 scale.
The Mk.84 is an American general-purpose aerial bomb of the heaviest weight class of the Mk.80 series. The BSU-36/B tail is an inflatable retarding device that slows the bomb after release and makes a safe attack from low level possible. The armament is carried by aircraft such as the F-15E, the F-16, the F-111F, the AV-8B and the F/A-18D.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. The bombs are usually painted olive green with colored bands marking the type of filling.
The set contains resin parts only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
