Late pylons with 122 gallon auxiliary fuel tanks for the AH-64 Apache in 1:35 scale from Reskit - a resin, 3D-printed detail set for a more faithful weapons load and range of the attack helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set brings a pair of late pylons together with a pair of auxiliary fuel tanks of 122 gallon capacity for a model of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in 1:35 scale. The parts are produced by modern 3D printing from quality resin and offer finer surface detail than injection-molded parts from the box usually have. It is not a helicopter kit but an accessory for a more advanced build.
The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter intended to destroy ground targets and armored vehicles. On its stub wing pylons it carries guided missiles, rocket launchers and gun armament, and auxiliary fuel tanks are hung under the pylons precisely in order to increase the range. The late version of the pylons corresponds to upgraded machines of later production batches.
First wash the parts free of residual uncured resin, carefully cut off the print supports and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, then you can create the typical flat finish with an airbrush and bring it out with a wash and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
