Turned metal barrel of the 37mm Bofors wz.37 anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale from Aber. A detail accessory for models of the Polish 7TP light tank, not a stand-alone kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal barrel of the 37 mm Bofors anti-tank gun in the wz.37 version, in 1:35 scale, from Aber. It is not a vehicle kit but a precise replacement part that takes the place of the plastic barrel on a model. It is intended for models of the Polish 7TP light tank.
The 37 mm Bofors gun of Swedish design, built under license in Poland as the wz.37, was the main armament of the 7TP light tank. It was a powerful anti-tank weapon for its day, able to pierce the armor of most light tanks of the period. In 1939 the 7TP was among the best-armed Polish tanks.
The turned barrel has a faithful bore and muzzle profile and needs no drilling. Separate the part from the casting stub, degrease it and bond it with super glue. Prime the metal surface before painting so that the paint holds well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
