A detailed resin, 3D-printed set of three pilot seats for the CH-54A (S-64E) Tarhe helicopter in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian maker Reskit. It is not a helicopter model but an accessory meant to improve the cabin of the ICM CH-54A kit. The set is intended for more experienced modelers and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The set replaces the basic seats in the pilot cabin with more accurate and better articulated parts with a faithful texture of the shells and the upholstery. The three seats match the cabin layout of the heavy crane helicopter CH-54A Tarhe (the military version of the civilian Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane), which was used to carry oversized loads slung under the fuselage.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue and cut off the print supports. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Lay down a primer, paint the seats with an airbrush or a brush and bring them out with a wash; add the belts and details with a brush. Seat them and check the fit before you close the cabin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
