The second part of the Star Decals decal series in 1:35 scale aimed at British amphibious vehicles during the landing in Normandy. Beside the DUKW truck it covers the smaller SEEP amphibious car as well, and it offers the markings of the transport company 297 Coy (GT) and of the Beach Group, which organized the traffic directly on the beaches.
The DUKW was a large six-wheeled amphibious truck, whereas the SEEP (the amphibious version of a light cross-country car) served for reconnaissance and liaison between the shore and the water. The Beach Groups were mixed units responsible for directing the flow of material and vehicles in the first days of the invasion.
Apply the decals onto a smooth varnished surface and clear-coat with a matte varnish once dry. For settling over edges and rivets a softener helps.
This is a decal sheet, not a model. The kit and the paints are not included in the package.
