A decal sheet with the insignia for the helmets of German army soldiers of the Second World War, 1:35 scale. Meant for figures and crews.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a figure in 1:35 scale a helmet is a small surface onto which an insignia is hard to paint by hand: the lines come out heavier than they should and the symmetry is hard to hold. A decal does this work for you. The insignia has crisp edges and the right size, and once dry it blends with the paint of the helmet, so on a figure it does not read as a sticker.
This is a sheet with the insignia worn on their helmets by the men of the German army in the Second World War, in 1:35 scale. The number in the name tells the individual sheets within the line apart, because a whole line of them came out with different contents. How many elements the sheet carries and how they are laid out is given by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the enclosed instructions.
First paint the helmet and let the coat cure. Seal the place under the decal with gloss clear; on a matte base a silvering haze forms under the film. Cut the element out close to the edge of the print, soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide over the backing. Transfer it onto a dampened spot and set it with the tip of a brush. Because a helmet is domed, help the film bed down with a softener and soak up the excess water. Finally seal the figure with matte clear so that the gloss around the insignia disappears.
Figures, paints, clear coat and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
